While getting driver's licenses, students learn about adult responsibilities and freedoms
Driving for the first time on your own is a scary yet liberating milestone for young adults. Getting a driver's license is a rite of passage into adulthood with many benefits. The ability to grab your keys, hop into the front seat and drive wherever you want is a privilege, but at the same time, driving offers the opportunity for serious danger. As U-High students receive their licenses, they begin to experience the freedoms and responsibilities of becoming an adult.
